I revel in the amount of new products that feature the newest forms of LED lighting. Not only does LED make for an interesting selling point because it is the hot new trend, it also means you are getting the dependability of LED technology with your product. Case in point; I recently had to purchase a new refrigerator because mine went on the blink and due to its age it was more economical to just replace it. As I strolled through the endless lines of refrigerators lined up like soldiers going into battle, I noticed that most of  the higher end models included LED lighting. The salesman was quick to point this out on each model I showed interest in. He explained the benefits of LED lighting and how the appliance would be more economical to operate by having LED lights. I chose a nice model with plenty of space and LED lights in 3 locations within the fridge portion which will deliver maximum visibility on those midnight snack runs. On the way home that evening I began to scrutinize on the life expectancy of the refrigerator itself and realized the LED lighting will still be working long after the appliance has lost its ability to keep my milk cool and my ice cream frozen. This technology is a testament to the effectiveness of LED lighting as a whole and can be seen in many genres of products on the market today.
