Lights, garlands, trees, decorations are all part of the mix if you want them. We can keep it simple and elegant with classic white lights, or we can offer you a wild kaleidoscope of color to dazzle even the most fastidious customer. We can pretty up your business’s façade and also the interior to delight any patron on a winter’s night. Holiday tree lighting is a specialty of ours so we can take any tree on your property and embellish it with lights for a festive nighttime appeal. It’s a simple look, but it always gets a great reaction.

We work with businesses large and small; from restaurants, churches, HOA’s, retail stores, main street areas and more. No holiday project is out of scope for us, and we are happy to meet your budget needs. We also use LED bulbs to keep wattage consumption low for additional cost savings on the power bill.

Keep in mind everything we install—whether it’s for your residence or your business—is commercial grade. These are not ordinary, big box store lighting made to last a single use. Everything is made to last and is of the highest quality available in the outdoor lighting industry. Don’t trust your holiday lighting to someone who will buy and install inferior grade string lights only to have them go out in the middle of the biggest money generating time of year!

Nashville Tree Lighting at the Country Music Hall of Fame

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville recently installed commercial outdoor lighting along the tree-lined entrance to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This venue is rich in music history as it is often referred to as the Smithsonian of country music.

With a core goal of collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evolving history and traditions of country music, the Country Music Hall of Fame teaches audiences about the past and continued importance of county music.

The venue recently unveiled a magnificent expansion, doubling its size to 350,000 sq. feet of galleries, classrooms, retail areas, storage and special event space. The building is situated in the heart of Music City’s epicenter close to the honky-tonks of Broadway and across the street from Bridgestone Arena.

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville is truly honored to have been asked to install the tree lighting along the entrance to this amazing venue! We used a technique called tree wrapping to add elegance and beauty to this already impressive locale. Though this genre of lighting may appear to be solely for the holidays, the venue intends to keep the lights year round. Such is the trend to use permanent tree lighting in many commercial buildings and even in residential backyard settings.

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville is in a New Location!

After many happy years at our Houston Street location, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville has moved! Just this week, we settled into Nashville outdoor lighting’s new home at 2215 Dunn Ave., Suite B in Nashville.

New OLP Nashville Building

Almost done!

We are still pouring lots of elbow grease and love into making the new spot our own, as you can see through the photos.

As many of you may already know, we were originally called “Lightscapes” and were operating under that name from 1987 until 1999. The birth of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives can be traced back to us, as we were a driving force in the way outdoor lighting was brought to market. By creating a turnkey landscape lighting business which featured the advent of the “night-time demonstration”, we brought the concept of all-inclusive outdoor lighting out of the shadows, away from being “avant garde” and into the mainstream.

Belle Meade architectural LED lighting and tree lighting by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of NashvilleFrom here, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville was born. Our objective is to plan, design, and install your outdoor lighting as part of our all-inclusive service, with top-quality fixtures and service. So, even though our building location has changed our commitment to excellence in outdoor lighting has not!

A quality lighting system would not be complete without a worry-free service and maintenance program. We at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives want your home or business to look wonderful five years from now – just like it did the day it was originally installed. We have a dedicated service crew that service, adjust, and consult with all of our current clients and nonclient systems daily. Your property is our product and we want to provide you with the ultimate lighting experience.

Outdoor lighting serves as a beneficial addition to outdoor spaces such as decks, patios and even children’s play areas such as a treehouse. Through illumination, you are able to increase the safety of a space and in turn, increase the time you can spend enjoying your outdoors. Our Nashville outdoor lighting portfolio is loaded with inspiration for lighting for outdoor living spaces.

When it comes to improving the look and feel of your Nashville landscape — lighting is the answer. From formal gardens, perennial beds, or a complete landscape overhaul, we can add beauty to your investment.

Nashville Landscape Lighting

Nashville landscape and water feature lighting.

If you are planning landscape or outdoor living space additions or have a property lacking outdoor lighting, we can design a system from scratch and lay everything out. It’s always best to include your outdoor lighting architect in your home-build or landscape renovation projects upfront so that we can work in tandem with your contractor to take advantage of the construction phase. Being proactive can save you money and hassle later when it comes time to determine where power and fixtures need to be if you plan in advance.

Even if you don’t plan on adding outdoor lighting right away, we can install sleeves before your hardscapes and other structures are poured or built. Sleeves allow wiring to easily be passed through at any time instead of having to dig under existing hardscape like concrete. This proactive approach minimizes on mess and causes less disruption of the landscape. It also helps in case you have an issue with wiring later on as it can be quickly serviced or replaced through the same sleeve.

LandscapeLighting

Of course, we are always happy to work around your existing outdoor structures and landscaping. We will come in and evaluate your property and work around existing structures wherever possible–so don’t fret if you forgot to include landscape lighting in your initial plans.

Welcome David G. Todd to Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville

david-g-todd-headshot-for-olp-nashville

David G. Todd, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville.

Here at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville, we have a close-knit team. From our office staff, to our designers and our installers, we embrace an ethic of open communication and teamwork. In many ways, we function in much the same manner a family would. With this in mind, we want to formally welcome one of our newest team members into the OLP Nashville family — David G. Todd.

David is a Nashville native. He was in the specialty advertising business for 25 years. After selling his company he pondered what his next step would be. David then decided to venture into the oil and gas business where he remained until 2015 when gas prices plummeted, or when the spigots were turned off, so to speak. This left his calendar open to exploring new endeavors.

David’s arrival at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville has been “simmering” for many years as David and Bob Lyons Jr. have been friends for some 25+ years. During this time the two of them often tossed around the idea of doing something together from a business perspective. About 3 years backs those friendly conversations became more serious, which focused on growing the commercial end of the business from a lighting standpoint. David has ties to many of the contractors, builders, engineers and architects doing business in and around the Nashville area, so this past summer he and Bob Jr. decided to move ahead in officially making him part of the team.

David officially joined the OLP Nashville team on August 1st, 2016, where he is heading the commercial outdoor lighting aspect of growth and assists in growing the residential outdoor lighting facet as well. He is working in unison with Bob Jr. as the main salesman for commercial and residential installations.

Brentwood TN Architectural and Facade Outdoor Lighting

He loves being at OLP Nashville and says he is having a blast. He is most impressed with the effect the addition of outdoor lighting has on a property. Some of the most enjoyment for him comes from helping with evening demonstrations for prospective clients and witnessing their reaction to seeing their home, or business, illuminated for the first time — it is truly priceless. David pointed out a recent demo where the couple gave each other outdoor lighting as a Christmas present to themselves and how overjoyed they were with the results.

2016-olp-franchise-of-the-year-award-from-olb

This past year, 2016, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Nashville won a Franchisee of the Year award and the Excellence in Sales Award during the Outdoor Living Brands annual meeting held in January. David is elated to be part of a team that has, and continues, to be recognized for their success!

Please help us welcome the newest member of our team! We look forward to sharing the continued success of Nashville outdoor lighting, both in our commercial and residential projects in the future.
